Routing
A route is a pairing between two endpoints, i.e. data flows from the sender to the recipient via a route. You use the route to specify who shares messages.
The routing controls the flow of data along the routes. You use the routing to specify which messages are shared.
Create inbound and/or outbound routes for each endpoint, group, and paired account. No data can be shared without a route. |
Agrirouter transports data but it does not edit or store it. This excludes data that cannot be delivered, e.g. because the recipient is offline. Agrirouter buffers this data for 4 weeks. If the recipient cannot be reached for the entire time, the data is deleted. |
In this section you will learn:

Which routes are created automatically, and when

Automatically created routes
The inbound and outbound routes of the two default groups are set by the system and cannot be changed:
-
Members of the agricultural software group send all data – i.e. all messages and real-time data – to all members of the machine group
-
Members of the machine group send all data – i.e. all messages and real-time data – to all members of the agricultural software group
